Every batch of milk is tested, both when the milk arrives from various chiller units and also after the processing.
On a regular basis, the packaged milk is also checked, including some of them brought back from the market. The milk is tested for various parameters, including water content, fat content, solids but not fat content, chemical composition, levels of micro-organisms, etc.,
Quality control of Milk is done through standard tests to ensure the application of approved practices, standards and regulations concerning the milk and milk products.
These tests are designed to ensure that milk products meet accepted standards for chemical compositionand purity, as well as levels of different micro-organisms.
